ENGLISH: Sterntalerhof Hospice and Artivive raise money for family harbourage of chronically ill children through augmented reality artworks.

Vienna, October 26, 2022 - Sterntalerhof Hospice and Artivive are organizing a charity event to help fund harbourage and everyday care for families of seriously ill children by selling augmented reality artworks from November 7 to December 7.

A worldwide charity event
The charity event will showcase 89 augmented reality enhanced artworks from 7 international artists. The AR experience within the art is built using Artivive’s technology. Visitors will be able to scan the artworks using the Artivive app, discover the extra layer behind each artwork and experience it come to life.

The artworks can be bought on the Marketplace at www.artivive.com in profit of the charity. In this way the charity can rely on Artivive’s community to reach people and enlarge their support worldwide.

“Augmented reality art helps people come together, connect, and allows them to gain new perspectives. Therefore, projects like the charity event can help us elevate the work we’re doing as we are creating the art form of the future. We are very happy to be part of this project and be able to give back to the Sterntalerhof Hospice through art.” – Sergiu Ardelean, CEO & CO-founder of Artivive

Local exhibition in Vienna
A selection of the artworks will be exhibited on November 17 at Reindorfgasse 38, 1150 Vienna. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase the artworks and meet one of the artists, Christopher Jeauhn Bayne. A Viennese fine art artist who finds his inspiration in people, society, religion, history, and the natural world in general.

Sterntalerhof Hospice
“We provide a feeling of comfort, hope, confidence, and zest for life to children and their families who do not know how long they’re going to have a tomorrow together and stick to the philosophy: A family only because they cannot afford our support will not be rejected.”, explains Mag. Harald Jakovits, Managing Director at Sterntalerhof.

100% of the profits will be donated to improve the Sternenhaus project. A house designed to support families during terminal care and grieving. The goal is to ensure that the first families can be accepted and receive the full everyday care they require.

"To succeed in taking away some of the burden from the families affected so heavily - this is the most beautiful thing for me personally." - Lisa Wiesinger, Coordinator at Sterntalerhof
